New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1900. Brown boards, gilt lettering on front and spine, green/red border surrounding title and shield on front, 509 numbered pages plus 2 pages of ads. Lightly bumped and rubbed on ends of spine and tips of corners, boards lightly smudged, speckled on bottom edge and smudged on top edge, previous owner's sticker on front paste-down and embossed stamp on title page, smudges on rear endpapers. Binding tight. Six pages dog-eared on lower corner else a clean, attractive book. Overall, very good plus. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good Plus/No DJ. Illus. by Partridge, Bernard. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
