About This Item
"Afirst novel by Pappy Boyington (that obstreperous Baa Baa Black Sheep) tells of Tonya, a seductive tramp, ""long on looks and short on morals"", and some of her exploits as well as those of a pilot outfit ""The Flying Sharks"" to which she attached herself. As the story opens, the Sharks, a legendary group, are engaged as part of a plane and equipment program to fly for a mythical Empress of China, but with Pearl Harbor they are also used by their leader-Stud- to take him down the glory road at the expense of his men. Some tears on jacket but intact. Signed by Boyington inside the front cover.Book itself is very good.
