About This Item
Anderson, Indiana: Hill-Standard Co., 1924. NA. Very Good. Primary promotional brochure is 8 pages, counting the front and rear cover, and illustrated with one or two photos or illustrations per page showing elaborate pool water slides, along with a "water pony" and buoys. The most extravagant of these slides is a 30 foot chute intended for large public pools or amusement parks, and the photo shows children lining up on its ladder. The accompanying flyer is directed at more standard playground equipment, which the company is promoting as "safe and sane". These include slides with a wavy descent, seesaws, swings, various contraptions that revolve around a pole.
