Classic cookbook by the king of tiki cuisine, in 287 pages, containing 300 recipes for food & drink from 18 different locales, well- illustrated throughout with 20 color photos (B.Harlow) & 70+ line drawings (W. Low). A BCE (book club edition, so designated on bottom front DJ flap) of the First Edition, fourth printing, from 1968, this hardcover has burnt-orange cloth-covered boards with a black cloth-wrapped spine, embossed tiki design to front cover, gilt lettering to spine. Condition is VG: very clean, save for light handling soil to outside page edges. Binding secure & straight, pages white with age-appropriate tanning around all edges. NO writing/underlining/highlighting; not ex-lib. Only flaw is mild-moderate rubbing to extremities, heaviest along bottom edges & corners. The unclipped DJ is all present, but only Fair: with heavy edgewear & chipping & creasing. Nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
