Measures 9" x 5-¾". First edition, first issue with the sheets bulking to about 1-?"; With the title page clearly conjugate; With State A of the frontispiece signature measuring 1-7/16" wide (BAL 3442). Near fine copy with the gilt lettering very well preserved. Wear to the corners and the tail of the spine. Pages are clean, bright and tight.
