About This Item

Kalmbach Publishing Company. P. 1951. Magazine. Rated poor condition due to cut-outs on pages 29/30 and 7/ 8. Don't think it affects printed stories. Otherwise magazine is in quite good clean condition. Stamped date on front cover. Contents include a b/w photo story of American Car & Foundary St. Charles plant as a builder of streamliners; the official guide handbook of American railroad timetables also is material for an interesting evening; 1950 saw an increased output of diesels and fewer steam locomotives in service on American railroads; several pages of a camera's view of railroading ( 2 photots cut out) ; the Cedar Rapids & Iowa City is a rare electric freight business; the Union Pacific operates the former Train of Tomorrow astro dome cars between Portland and Seattle; the Stewart Special Korean express made out of bombed equipment carries supplies to our fighting G. I's, etc. Free gift wrapping, card and domestic drop shipping for most occasions. Let us know the occasion and message. ; B&W Photographs; 8 1/4 x 11 1/4; 58 pages .
