About This Item

parts: Librarie Octave Doin, 1876. Hardback. Good/No Jacket. 1585 8vo. Quarter leather (originally half?) over marbled paper covered boards. Marbled end papers, all edges blue tinted. Two volumes, complete, volume 1 493 pages plus table of contents, volume 2 478 pages plus table of contents and an index. Illustrated with drawings and diagrams within run of the text. Condition notes: Some rubbing to the edges of the boards, especially to the corners, where there is some of the marbled paper. Some foxing to prelims and to contents tables, but only occasional foxing to the main content book. The index in the second volume shows some damage: there is a small tear to one of the pages, some insect damage to that same page and the following one, and a small tear to the edge of that second page. There are also ink splashes to the index. Bindings sound.

COVI-19 UPDATE: as Post Offices return to normal hours we can once again offer Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day as our Expedited Shipping option. We will continue to use a 3-day courier service for standard domestic deliveries. Delivery in the UK is typically within 3 days of collection from us (eg collected Wednesday, delivered Friday). The service is tracked but does not require a signature; you have the opportunity to record a safe place where your parcel can be left if you are not at home. We are still accepting orders for overseas posting but there continue to be delivery delays to countries outside the UK. Please bear this in mind when ordering; if you are in a hurry for your order PLEASE LET US KNOW so that we can discuss options.

We offer a 30 day return guarantee, with full refund including shipping costs for up to 30 days after delivery if an item arrives damaged or has been mis-described. For items returned for other reasons, we regret we cannot refund postage.
