About the author

Carole Fair received a kidney trans-plant in February 2011. "Transplanted to Better Health" was awarded first place in the Health category of the Christian Choice Book Awards contest, 2012. Carole was chosen to be a patient advocate for World Kidney Day, March 14, 2013, in Washington, D.C. She met with congressmen to encourage the passing of certain kidney-related bills and to share her story. Carole speaks to civic groups and women's organizations on transplant awareness, clearing up some misconceptions, and promoting organ donations to save lives. She loves to talk and travel!!
