About This Item

[Wells] Jackson (1875-1957; Yale Library trustee and benefactor). Red leather over spine and corners, and marbled paper over boards. Covers are a little rubbed, and there is a scuff affecting the letters "OU" on spine. End leaves with bibliographic notations, as well as an inked four digit number likely from a personal library. End leaves are a little darkened. Volume remains tight and generally clean. Nice copy with good provenance.
