Highlights include a Gutenberg Bible, a Caxton Chaucer, a Dead Sea Scroll, an Albert Einstein manuscript, a Mozart score, and some extraordinary illuminated manuscripts. The book contains full-colour illustrations of many of the items in the exhibition and a commentary on each of them and their significance to the record of human civilisation, with information on the institutions lending the items. Profusely illustrated with reproductions in colour of the works that were exhibited for the centenary year. The book includes a bibliography and acknowledgements. There is no damage to describe.
