Binding rubbed and scuffed, 3 plates have a closed inner edge tear neatly repaired (max. 2"), with no loss to image, pale staining to 10 leaves at lower corners, a strip of browning to edges of pastedowns and endpapers, otherwise a very good clean tight copy. This copy and one listed on Google, have the same 8 old ink corrections, all corrected in the second edition published 2 years later.
