Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston in 1942. ; The early issuance mentioning "Paddle - To - The - Sea" only and not " Sea Bird " with a full back dust jacket promotional for that book ; only Decorated green cloth pictorial cover with that cottonwood tree and bold black lettering is in good condition with shelfwearalong bottom edge. The $3.00 unclipped Dust Jacket is in decent condition for it's age, with several blemishes along the bottom of the back, and some tearing at the top and bottom of the spine. The interior with decorated pictorial endpapers is in very good to fine with beautiful illustrations by the author Holling Clancy Holling and the Conestoga Wagon details by Arthur Woodward.
