Original publisher's green cloth, lettered gilt on spine. The trial of Lady Chatterley was published as a Penguin special on 2nd February 1961. Of this edition, to which the report of a debate in the House of Lords has been added, two thousand copies, this being no. 1741 were printed, and signed by Allen Lane. Ownership signature of Margery Fisher 1913�1992, British literary critic and academic (closely associated with Penguin and Puffin). Including a couple of notes in her hand.
