Description

New York: Albert & Charles Boni, 1925. First American edition, first binding. Hardcover. 320pp. Duodecimo [19 cm] 1/4 black cloth with decoratively patterned red and black paper covered boards. Publisher's red top stain. Very good. The edges of the spine ands covers are lightly bumped and rubbed. The gilt stamped title on the spine has faded. Rolled spine. There is a previous owner's inscription on the front free endsheet. There is also a small drawing on the front free endsheet. Reginald 07459. Laurence Housman was the brother of A. E. Housman, and fantasy writer, Clemence Housman. He is known for several volumes of fantasy and science fiction stories himself.
