London: Macdonald, 1945. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. (London: MacDonald and Co. (Publishers) Ltd. nd [1945)]. First UK Edition. Publisher's mid-blue boards with lighter blue lettering to the spine. Spine tips faded and a little soft otherwise a clean and sound VG+ copy in like dustwrapper that is slightly worn with a touch of loss to the head of the spine and rubbed to the spine edges. The dustwrapper is not price-clipped and is priced 8/6 net to the inside flap (as called for). There are a couple of short, closed tears (with associated creases) to the front panel. A much nicer copy than normally seen. Photographs/scans available upon request.
