Collection of fairy tales with sixteen stunning full page (not tipped in) color plates by Kay Nielsen in Art Nouveau style. Purple pictorial cloth printed in dark gray, decorative endpapers, no dustjacket. Some shelfwear, mainly to the corners and spine ends, spine still purple but less vivid than the covers, good hinges, sound text block, light chipping to the far bottom margin of the plate on page 169, pages clean, no names or other markings. The stories include: Minon-Minette, Felicia or The Pot of Pinks, The Twelve Dancing Princesses, Rosanie or The Inconstant Prince, The Man Who Never Laughed, and John and the Ghosts.. First US Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
