Five sections by the authors listed above are titled; 1] A Reconnaissance in the Sushitna BAsin and adjacent territory, Alaska, in 1898; 2] A reconnaissance in southerwestern Alaska in 1898; 3] A reconnaissance from Resurrection Bay to the Tanana River, Alaska, in 1898; 4] A reconnaissance of a part of Prince William Sound and the Copper River district, Alaska, in 1898; 5] A reconnaissance in the White and Tanana river basins, Alaska, in 1898. All plates present, including the five folded plates in the rear pocket. Bound in original dark cloth with letting and cover illustration in gilt. Small bookplate and Mountain Fuel Supply Company stamp on the front endpaper. Spots of mottling to the covers. A very good copy.
