No. 133 of 500 signed. 12mo, 6.5 x 4.75 inches, bound in paper covered textured boards made to look like the bark of a redwood tree, very good, light wear to binding, cracking to inner hinges, contents otherwise very good, ownership signature fro 1898 of Charlotte Dallas Irish of Pittsburgh. 108 pp, illustrated with photoplates, including cacti in Tucson, a cockfight in Juarez, Mexico, and a street scene there, 127-year-old palm trees in San Diego, ruins of a San Diego mission, a jackrabbit hunt at the Coronado Ranch, Magnolia Avenue in Riverside, the San Gabriel mission, Santa Catalina island, the home of Ramona, Santa Barbara Mission, Santa Cruz horse changing, cypress trees on the Monterey coast, Chinatown in San Francisco, Indian gambling at Reno, Nevada, etc. The author was a Pittsburgher.
