[v]-viii+312, frontispiece, plus 5 plates; maroon cloth, lettered in white & blind and decorated in green, white & black, a trifle soiled, the white lettering almost rubbed away at a couple of points, the spine extremities slightly chipped and frayed, fore-corners of boards a trifle rubbed; upper hinge starting, tiny chip to top edge of last two text leaves, a little light foxing; R. F. Fenno & Company, New York, n.d. Later undated impression of the Fenno edition. Coustillas A2.10b, with no half-title page or final blank. *The copyright page retains the date of the first Fenno edition (1896), but the East Sixteenth Street address in the publisher's imprint suggests a publication date of 1898 or later. (Fenno & Company occupied those premises from mid 1897 until 1905).

All books are in very good, or better, condition with defects, if any, fully described. Traditional trade terms apply. Items are offered subject to prior sale.
