Limited edition of one thousand copies. Verona Society reprint of this 1594 novel. Printed on hand-made paper and bound in light brown linen. Previous owner's (C. J. Sisson) bookplate on front paste-down endpaper; dustjacket is edgeworn with some light chipping, spine is darkened and scuffed and there is a small hole on front flap hinge. Still a lovely copy of a beautifully produced book.
