Saturday Review Press, New York, 1973. Octavo, hardcover, pages lightly age toned else near fine in VG red pictorial dj. 336 pp. Includes appendices and index. Wilson, a Canadian scientist, was able to visit China in the late 1950's at a time when that country was not open to U.S. citizens. He visited again in 1987 as a visiting scientist and lecturing. This book deals largely with the changes he found in Chinese society over that span of time. illustrated with photographs.
