With reference to the influence of war on language. Written by Eric Partridge, a New Zealand-British lexicographer of the English language and its slang. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and fading to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is worn with chipping and loss to the head and tail of the spine, as well as the front board. The odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the endpapers. Very Good
