This dictionary is Ex-libris with the letter writer's bookplate. The letter is dated before the publication of the book but near the date. The previous copyright was 1900; therefore, she probably sent the letter and kept this amended copy. This book's owner thanks the bookstore owner for their mutually rewarding relationship. This dictionary's war-time paper was in accordance with the government's regulations. Panels, spine, and spine with light to moderate wear. Some gilt missing on spine. Book text is separated from the cloth spine; however, the gatherings are securely bound. A few darken spots on panels. Some tanning on feps and pastedowns with some wrinkling on these pages. Dust jacket in fair conditions with little flap wear but many tears and large chips. No price on jacket and unclipped flap corners. See photographs.
