Clean illustrated jacket has price clip to upper corner of front inside flap, 1/8" chipping at top spine edge, slight age-toning to rear panel (very nice photograph of author on rear panel). Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. The story of Lepe, and a lifetime spent at sea in the most dazzling years in all the history of navigation and discovery, and dark days spent under the shadow of the Spanish Inquisition, of bright hours of roistering and wenching, and shining moments of love.
