Small folio. 513 pp. A primarily visual history of villas in the Veneto province of Italy, providing short historical commentary accompanying many photos. This includes Petrarch's House, Villa Dal Verme, Villa Giustinian, various Scamozzi villas, villas from Jappelli to Carlo Scarpa, etc. VERY GOOD condition. Minor to moderate scuffing and some fading to the jacket. Minor soiling and a few small stains. Jacket worn along the extremities, with some creasing. Book faded along the extremities. Minor edgewear. Very light foxing in the interior.
