Paris: H Launette et cie, 1888. Limited edition (hardback). 4to (32cm x 24cm), viii, 236pp. Compositions et dessins de Leon Lhermitte, gravures sur bois de Clement Bellenger. Attractively bound in half red crushed morocco, red cloth boards, gilt titling and raised bands to the spine, top edge gilt. Small chip to the head of the spine, bumping to the lower corners of the boards, some foxing of the plates. Overall, this copy is in good to very good condition. Tirage a 600 exemplaires, numerotees, dont 525 sur velin blanc, hors texte sur velin de cuve teinte. Cet livre est exemplaire 551. Text in French.
