(1st) Larger book, fine red cloth, bright silver lettering on spine, includes music for 54 songs. 558 lightly browned pages, some illustrations. On half-title page in blue ink: "For Arlene, dear friend and colleague. Affectionately, Ruth. NYC 8/5/78." DJ glossy red-purple beneath mylar with illustration of Yiddish fiddler on front, white back lightly browned with smaller illustration at top front left, praise from Saturday Review, Jewish Currents, Western Folklore, Ethno-Musicology. DJ has tiny tear and creases at top front tip, very slight wear to bottom front tip, three tiny nicks to top front edge, nick and slight wear to spine top and bottom right edge, 3/8" tear with creases at top back edge next to spine. Good+ DJ/Very Fine book.
