London: Sampson, Low, Marston, Searle and Rivington, 1884. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. Two volumes with volume one showing minor wear at the head and heel of the spine, one slightly bumped corner, modest overall cover wear and light cover soiling, front endpaper splitting at hinge with chipping of the front fep, modest foxing of the first few pages, many pages are uncut. Volume two has more wear to the heel of the spine, modest overall wear and light cover soiling, modest foxing to the first few pages, many pages are uncut. Overall condition is very good with gilt lettering and design complete and clean thus a very good or better copy of a book that appears never to have been read. .
