Fredrick A. Stokes Company, printed in United States of America, 1923. Fifth printing (first printing was in 1922). Hardcover, with NO dust jacket. Rare book! This was Hugh Lofting's second book that he published. Notes on Condition: This book is an antique so wear is to be expected for an item that is 101 years old. There are some stains throughout the book and a few torn and nicked pages epespecially on pages 350-355. In a few places the pages are slightly pulling away from the binding. Overall, however, for an item this old it is in pretty decent condition. Please view the images provided to see some of the condition issues.
