New York: Academy of American Poets, 1981. Softcover. Near Fine. Pamphlet of 9 pp. in map illustrated wrappers. Near fine. A walking tour of the area of lower east side of Manhattan that was once known as Publishers Row during the middle decades of the 19th century. Poe worked in this area in 1844-45, arriving broke at age 35 after leaving a successful career in Philadelphia as editor of Graham's Magazine. The tour highlighted spots that Poe was known to frequent such as Gowan's Antiquarian Bookstore on Nassau Steet, "The Sun" newspaper offices on Fulton Street, etc.
