New York: Macmillan Company, 1930. Limited Edition. Hardcover with Slipcase. Very Good+/Slipcase VG; Glassine G+. Small 4to. Pp. ix, 139. Frontis. color illustration. Illustrated with reproductions of paintings, photographs and plans on coated paper, three plans folding out. Black half cloth over sea-green paper covered boards, glassine dust jacket, art paper leaves untrimmed and uncut/unopened, beige cloth slipcase with paper label printed in black. Edition limited to 350, this copy hand-numbered 29 and signed in ink by the author on a preliminary leaf. Board edges very lightly rubbed, glassine jacket edge chips and mellowed creases to flaps, slipcase edges rubbed and light soiling. Story of the ship that inspired Masefield, with a selection of verses. A handsome production, well-preserved.
