First edition, first printing. Dust-jacket protected by reinforced mylar cover that has been pasted to inside front and rear boards. Not a ex-libris copy, from a private collection. No previous ownership marks. The official and comprehensive history of events affecting the British armed forces in the Pacifiic and Far East theaters during the Second World War, prepared by the Naval Historical Branch, Ministry of Defense. A very clean, square, fresh and unmarked copy - near as new. Fine in a fine dust-jacket. Accompanied by separate blue cardboard case with 25 sequentially numbered maps and two other maps. Case is clean and intact, maps are all in excellent condition. . First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
