About the author

Douglas J. Penick was born in 1944 and is a graduate of Princeton University. He studied with his teacher, the late Venerable Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, from 1971 until his passing in 1987. Mr. Penick lives in Boulder, Colorado.
