"Washington Square" is one of his shorter works, and is centered around the relationship between an erudite physician and his daughter. With illustrations by Lawrence Beall Smith and an introduction by Louis S. Auchincloss. --- In coral cloth-covered boards gilt-stamped spine titling, printed on buff colored leaves; patterned brown endpapers. Volume protected in red paper-covered slipcase. Sandglass flyer laid in (Avon, no. X:36). --- A bright, clean, firm copy lacking damages worthy of mention. Slipcase w/minor sunning but remains structurally sound.; Tall Octavo (9 to 10 in. tall); xiii, 204 pages .
