Interesting account of the service life of Ann Baumgartner, who initially joined the WASPs (Women Airforce Service Pilots) as a ferry pilot in America during WW2. In 1944, she was assigned to the Fighter Flight Test Branch at Wright Field, where she made history as the only woman to test-fly experimental planes during the war. She was also the first woman to pilot a jet aircraft-the Bell YP-59A.
