Grosset & Dunlap, 1930. Reprint. Hardcover. Very Good/Fair. 8vo. - over 7¾' - 9¾'. A Very Good copy in a Fair dustjacket. DJ has shelfwear, edgwear, bumped corners, toning, smudges to covers, creases, chipping to the top & bottom of spine, sunning to spine, a 1' tear to the top of the front cover near the spine that has been repaired on the verso with scotch tape, and a 4 1/2' tear to the bottom of the back cover near the spine that has been repaired on the verso with scotch tape. Book has edgewear, bumped corners, toning to pages, and has a somewhat delicate binding. Interior is clean & unmarked.

Glossary
Some terminology that may be used in this description includes:
- Fair
- is a worn book that has complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack endpapers, half-title, etc....
- Verso
- The page bound on the left side of a book, opposite to the recto page.
- Reprint
- Any printing of a book which follows the original edition. By definition, a reprint is not a first edition.
- Spine
- The outer portion of a book which covers the actual binding. The spine usually faces outward when a book is placed on a shelf....
- Chipping
- A defect in which small pieces are missing from the edges; fraying or small pieces of paper missing the edge of a paperback, or...
- Shelfwear
- Minor wear resulting from a book being place on, and taken from a bookshelf, especially along the bottom edge.
