A small paper containing a handwritten poem (by John Venn!?) is laid in one of the volumes. Covers (dark red and black embossed design, picture of author and title in gold gilt on front, publisher cartouche and particulars on spine in gold gilt) = Very Good Plus. HATFIELD BOOKS AND MEMORABILIA, a FIVE STAR SELLER, presents a VERY RARE ASSOCIATION COPY of the 1828 collection of historical Scottish prose and verse, JACOBITE MINSTRELSY.
