Publishers' grey-green cloth with black titles to spine and upper board; lower edge uncut. Spine a little creased at tips, and tips and corners rubbed. Endpapers faintly toned; a little scattered foxing; no annotation or inscriptions. Posthumously published verse by the translator and poet John Payne (1842-1916), with Introduction by Thomas Wright, author of "The Life of John Payne".
