Very large, very heavy book, beveled edges, quality brown cloth with ornate embossed red, white and black illustration of man at well, a house and birds, very bright gilt lettering in gilt and red frames, gilt lettering with gilt flowers on spine, glossy brown color inside covers and adjacent end papers, 165 glossy stiff pages. Profusely illustrated with detailed stunning sketches. Tissue-covered frontispiece of maiden, lightly browned end papers. Slight surface wear to tips and spine edges. Very Good.
