About This Item

Very little wear, almost like new. An accounting, with photographs, of some of the biggest news events of the radio and television era. Comes with two CDs that carry the actual broadcasts of these events, From the Hindenburg explosion and the attack on Pearl Harbor, to the Oklahoma City bombing and the death of Princess Diana. A total of 38 news events are covered. The CDs should be intact, as the pouch they are in has never been opened. With a foreword by Walter Cronkite and narrated by Bill Kurtis. This book will ship at over three pounds. Excess shipping cost is included in the list price.

Synopsis

We Interrupt This Broadcast is the title of a non-fiction book from 1998. It was written by Joe Garner; the foreword was written by the veteran American newscaster Walter Cronkite. In addition to many descriptions and pictures of notable news events from the 20th century, compact discs containing audio news clips from the events described in the book are also included. The audio portions are narrated by Bill Kurtis.
