Chicago: E.B Treat, 1867. Cloth. Fair -. 1st edition. A Fair to Poor copy. 8vo., 601 pp., illustrated with B&W drawings. Green pebbled cloth. The text is shaken, with two loose pages. The front hinge is split just with another split just past the title page. Rear hinge mostly cracked through. Cooke's most famous volume and the closest thing to an autobiography of his war career; much information on Jackson, Stuart, and other Confederate leaders.
