Allen Lane, 1984. First British Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. The FIRST BRITISH EDITION, first printing, of this new mystery set in Los Angeles by this former-actor-turned-author. Though the interior of the book is completely clean, there is staining to the fore edge, along with foxing, which affects all other outside page edges as well. Else, the pink cloth-covered boards are completely clean (though front cover shows a crease), binding tight & square, pages creamy white. Former owner's name in pen on ffep; NO other writing, highlighting or underlining; not ex-lib. The unclipped DJ with orig. price in pounds at lower front flap) is also VG, marred by those same stains on inside & both flaps; does not impact exterior, which is bright & colorful with slight chipping at corners/top edge of spine.
