About the author

Abhijit Banerjee is the Ford Foundation International Professor of Economics at MIT and founded the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). Gita Gopinath is Economic Counsellor and Director of Research at the International Monetary Fund. The former governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Raghuram Rajan is the Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Mihir S. Sharma is Senior Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation and the head of its Economy and Growth Programme.
