Mark Schlabach is a college football and basketball columnist for ESPN.com. He has covered college football for more than a decade for newspapers--including nine years with the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and two years with the Washington Post--radio, and television. He has been honored multiple times by the Associated Press Sports Editors. He lives in Madison, Georgia. Frank Beamer is the head football coach with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, also known as Virginia Tech. He has been named Coach of the Year five times between two conferences, and has the most wins of any coach in the history of the school. He lives in Blacksburg, Virginia.
