Recased blue pictorial cloth. Gilt particulars. A total of six colored plates nicely engraved by the Dalziel brothers, as well as an additional 120 black/white illustrations throughout. Previous owner's Christmas inscription dated 1880 to blank fly. Minor staining to endpapers. A nice clean complete copy with an additional 40 plates not present in later editions.
