London: Collins, 1982. First British Edition. hardcover. Small stains to bottom bulked edge of text. About Fine in a close to Fine dustwrapper. Carver's second major collection of short fiction and his first book to go into further printings. Included is the story "Why Don't You Dance?," basis for the 2010 Will Ferrell film EVERYTHING MUST GO. This copy SIGNED by the author on the front endpaper. Much less common than the American edition which was published the previous year.
