The author was the son of the pilot of Seaplane George! . From the author's website: "I served two years in the United States Peace Corps, Honduras Central America, in the fisheries program and am bilingual in Spanish as a result. Following a year recruiting for the U.S. Peace Corps in Miami, I returned to South Brevard in 1993. I worked for newspapers as a reporter photographer. The Sebastian Sun, Vero Beach Press Journal, Florida Today, Hometown News, all have shared my bi-line. I am also a published author, Where Hell Freezes Over, is one of my many published titles since I began my writing career." He was a candidate for Congress in Florida.
