The author describes the nesting habits of 49 different birds. Illustrated with line drawings. Blue cloth, 127 pages, illustrated dustjacket. Light rubbing to corners and spine ends, two coffee cup ring-type spots on rear cover, good hinges, sound text block, a scattering of light foxing to the endpapers, embossed personal book stamp at the lower corner of the front free endpaper, pages clean and otherwise unmarked. The mylar protected dustjacket is priceclipped and has some very minor chipping to the spine ends, a small green circular sticker at the bottom corner of the front panel, very minor spot to lower edge of spine.. The book is very good with very light rubbing to the spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with no names or other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [.75] and has some light chipping to the top edge which does not interfere with cover design.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Warmly told story of how a grandfather made his old Vaudeville days come to life by performing his old routines in the attic for his grandchildren.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Illustrated mainly in duotone (black and white plus one additional color) plus several full color plates. Blue cloth lettered in gilt with color illustration mounted on the front cover, patterned endpapers, 96 pages. Covers have some finger soil and edgewear, with light fraying to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, two bits of old adhesive on the front pastedown, a few tiny chips and closed tear to the far lower margins, light foxing to dedication page, very minor old transparent stain to the far top margins, gift notation on the verso of the front free endpaper, pages otherwise unmarked and generally clean with a few instances of light finger soil.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/No. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Light rubbing to the extremities, just a touch of barely noticeable finger soil to the cover, gilt somewhat dulled but very clearly legible, good hinges, sound text block, slightly age-toned but clean pages, no names or other markings.. Dark blue cloth with color illustration mounted on the front cover, lettering in gilt, no dustjacket, possibly as issued. Very good copy with very light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages with an old gift notation on the reverse side of the frontis illustration, no other markings.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Long, narrow hardcover (10.5 x about 3.25 inches) with original mailing carton that has a window for the crocodile's snout to be visible. Some age-speckling to the white background, slightly darkened area consistent with the mailing box window, one inch tape repair to the bottom of the rear cover, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages with some minor age-toning to the first and last pages, no names or other markings. The mailing box has some old tape marks to the far end (tape has long ago fallen off), minor soil, French stamps but no postmark. Our guess is that the mailing box was never intended to be actually used to mail the book but was just there for effect. . Hard Cover. Very Good/Good Mailing Box. Narrow Oblong 8vo.

New York: E. P. Dutton, 1957. Nineteenth printing, 1957. Lavender hardcover printed in dark blue, illustrated dustjacket. The book has some light edge rubbing as well as some fading to the far outer edges, good hinges, sound text block, outer edges of text block and endpapers age-speckled, pages somewhat age-toned with outer margins that are further age-darkened, pages otherwise clean, old address label at top corner of front free endpaper, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [2.75] and has age-speckling to the white background, some very small chips to the spine ends, almost no paper loss.. Hard Cover.
