Hardcover, bound in black boards titled in white on the spine, laid into a black and white printed dust wrapper. There are minor creases to the top edge of the dust jacket. x & 273 pages illustrated with an 8 page section of photographs. Near fine.
First edition, first printing with a full number line.
Laid in is a promotional flyer for the book which states in part "This book is the story of one of the most heinous acts of censorship in the history of the United States. In 1956 and again in 1960, the United States government burned the books and journals, including the scientific books, of Wilhelm Reich, M.D."
