Alfred A. Knopf, 1946. 2d Ptg. . Cloth. Fine/Good. Sturdy book, reddish-brown cloth, gilt lettering and bar design on spine, 379 lightly browned pages with 13-page index. DJ heavy paper, purple front and spine, blue background at center front with black and white lettering, blue top and bottom back with photo of author smoking pipe at center back. DJ has small white smudge at bottom front, tiny nicks with very slight wear at spine edges, very slight wear at spine bookfold on left side. Good DJ/Fine book.
